1. Is the PVC hose uniform in thickness? The inner cavity and outer edge of a good quality PVC hose are evenly distributed on a standard circular annular wall. For example, a PVC hose with an inner diameter of 89 mm and a wall thickness of 7 mm can be used for a wall thickness of 7.5 mm and a thickness of only 5.5 mm. Working under a large pressure is easy to cause uneven pressure on the pipe wall, causing the PVC hose to burst. Or deformation can affect normal use.
2. Whether there are air bubbles or other visible objects on the PVC hose wall are colorless and transparent. The walls of high-quality PVC hoses are crystal clear without any impurities. The color of the defective PVC hose is yellow, which may be caused by decomposition, aging or improper storage during the production process due to improper handling.
3. The high-quality PVC hose has no smell of any other petrochemical products except a little plastic smell. The inferior hoses have an unpleasant smell of pungent diesel, especially in hot summers.
4. The inner and outer pipe walls of high-quality PVC hoses are smooth and feel good, while the low-quality pipes are rough.
5. When measuring the wall thickness, cut off the two ends of the PVC hose and select the middle tube as the sample test to prevent some unscrupulous manufacturers from making a fuss at the two ends of the pipe. The actual wall thickness is thinner than the ends of the pipe.
6. Cut the wire of several centimeters at both ends of the PVC hose and repeatedly fold the steel wire to test the strength and toughness of the steel wire. A poor quality wire will break when it is folded one or two times, and the wire of a high quality PVC hose requires special tools to cut off. The quality of the steel wire determines the quality of the entire pipe. PVC hoses that cause quality problems due to steel wire are prone to irreversible deformation.
