LPG Floating Hose

 

Application:

It has been widely used in LPG transfer in wharf.

Characteristic:

●End fitting materials for low temperature service

●Reinforced lining applied along the hose bore to reduce the risk of explosive decompression

●May include a butterfly valve, camlock and/or light blind flange.

● Hose will be fitted with a spool piece at both ends equipped with lifting lugs for easy material handling.

●Hoses equipped with suitable rubber collars capable of preventing mechanical wear to external body of hose under all.

●The Hose Shall be marked "LPG" per 10 ft interval accoring to API 2510

Acceptance criteria:

Acceptance criteria for -50˚C operation included the following:

Long term LPG soak test

Gas permeation and decompression test

Thermal insulation test

Thermal cycling test

Fatigue testing
